Hillsbrad is my very favourite zone of all time, up there with Nagrand and Storm peaks. I especially love the battle of Hillsbrad quest chain. Killing innocent humans never get old.

Hillsbrad was cool. Felt like you were getting out into the wild, with the mountains towering over you to the north. Also, I loved the Ravenholdt quest line where you learn to disarm traps. Such potential for that area.

The hours-long TM/SS battles were, without a doubt, the best introduction to PvP anyone could've hoped for.

Three things come to mind:

- 30 [Hillsbrad Human Skull]
- [Helcular's Rod]
- Epic pvp battles back in the days

before the age of Arena, before the dawn of Battle Grounds, long before Honor; there was Hillsbrad.

Ah yes. The number one stop for world pvp before BGs and Wintergrasp.

Hillsbrad is traditionally the most blood soaked battlefield on Azeroth, despite its pleasant, pastoral setting. In the Second War, it saw several important skirmishes between orcs and forest trolls on one side, and humans and high elves on the other. In the Third War, the Scourge wiped out the human town of Tarren Mill, though later it was claimed as the southernmost holding of the Forsaken. Since then, the undead have been battling fiercely with the humans of Southshore, and the region is infamous for having at one point been impossible to even enter without being slowed down by the constant battle and bloodshed.
