Sure he has no body, but the way his powers corrupt and eventually turn people insane is amazing. That, and his influence is felt as far as the Grizzly Hills. Awesome quotes too.
"Tremble, mortals, before the coming of the end!"
" Your will is no longer you own..."
And his transition into phase two:
* Sara yells: I am the lucid dream.
* Sara yells: The monster in your nightmares.
* Sara yells: The fiend of a thousand faces.
* Sara yells: Cower before my true form.
* Yogg-Saron yells: BOW DOWN BEFORE THE GOD OF DEATH!

Never fought Yoggy ingame, but love his presence around Northrend, not my favourite Lore 'monster' but he's up there with C'thun.

Gotta love the old gods. The play the people of the world like a giant chessboard. Ushering their insane kings along the board to spread the grand gift of Madness

His nightmares he shows you in the from of the 3 dreams are quite an interesting look into his character

Old Gods always have had a place in my heart. Their lore is pretty much the reason why anything goes wrong (trust me, it's true. Wowwiki that) and they're just plain interesting. Although, me being a fan of Lovecraft makes it kind of a bias.
