First you have to deal with his badassedness (is that a word?) then you look at him on the pictures on the cataclysm website, I'm pretty sure that his head is half the size of Stormwind Cathedril.

A dragon who is the embodiment of rage. Also, lava. Not only extremely huge, but he bolted metal plates onto himself because the power of his rage (also lava) was destroying him. He has been empowered by the Old Gods, increasing his power above "just" being the Earthwarder. He also has an enormous chin.

deathwing's chin once ran into chuck norris chin in the barrens. blizzard will show us the result of this epic battle with the cataclysm.

To add to this point, his chin is hu-

Well, he didn't get his additional power from the Old Gods so to say as he got it from his fellow Aspects.

He tricked them into putting part of their souls into what at the time he called the 'Dragon Soul' (Now known as the Demon Soul) However it was the Old Gods whispering that put him up to it so they do get some credit.

and finally he was corrupted as opposed to the others because as the Earthwarder he's closer to them then the others. (The Old Gods being imprisoned in the earth and what not.)

This is the big bad guy I've been looking forward to.

Although, seeing as how he's survived battle with all four of the other dragon aspects, I'm wondering just how 25 players are supposed to be able to bring him down.

he survived cause he fled, and only bested the other aspecs prior cause their powers were diminished by the demon soul. plus, taking into consideration what ilevel our gear will be when we go fist-to-chin with ol Deathwing its really not that hard to see how we'll get him down.

You make a couple good points. But pointing out that he fled from the other four dragon aspects when they were back at full power now has me worried that he'll pull a 1% health escape plan, and we won't actually get to finally kill him until a later expansion.
