Herbalism is an almost necessary requirement for Alchemy. You're going to find herbs all around the world, so why not get this skill and take advantage of it? Alchemy is a great skill that allows you to generate all sorts of instant and temporary potions to improve a character's effectiveness.
After becoming an alchemist all that was left was to go and pick a few flowers!And more flowers...and...some more flowers...and then mash them all into a little vial!Then,profit? Yes! Herbs you don't need after leveling past them can still be sold on the AH for a few gold, even for the low level ones such as peacebloom. And what rogue doesn't need some swiftthistle for their afternoon Thistle Tea?
I enjoyed leveling it up, but once maxed out, there isn't really much to it rather than running a pre-defined path in Snow Peaks to gather the two top-tier herbs and maybe a couple of Frost Lotus.
