Boss Encounters :: Naxxramas :: Grobbulus

Capital Cities :: Ironforge

The design of IF is fantastic, and reminds me of the idea of a town square (or circle in the case of IF). The city's auction house and bank are very close together, and the tram helps with travel to all of the other cities (thanks to the harbor in SW) very easy.

However, I find the architecture to be rather bland for the most part.

So, for making my life easier to perform daily tasks IF gets a 5, for other things, I give it a 3...average of 4.

Classes :: Priests

Priests are indeed one of the more difficult classes to play, let alone perfect. As a low level priest, it is often discouraging to level until you reach level 40 and obtain Shadowform, and even more discouraging if you are attempting to level in a healing specialization, unless you are leveling through dungeon farming.

At higher tiers of content, priests are considered extremely valuable, whether they are in a group as a healer or as DPS. Shadow priests tend to start out expansions performing well compared to other DPS classes, but have had issues in the past with scaling, specifically in regards to haste. However, talented shadow priests can perform competitively with other DPS classes if played by someone dedicated to the class.

Holy priests are extremely valuable raid healers, and can often out-perform other healing classes when it comes to raid healing. Discipline priests are amazing tank and damage mitigation healers. However, both healing specs require very dedicated players to perform well when compared to some of the other healing classes.

From personal experience, many of the people that I have played with complain about the difficulty of playing a priest compared to their main class when they begin playing.

Classes :: Priests :: Shadow

+1

Shadow priests are considered one of the hardest DPS classes to play effectively. This is due in large part to the very tight priority of spellcasting, where a missed spell cast can cause extreme loss in DPS, as well as the historic issues that the class has experienced with scaling, specifically in regards to haste.

Shadow priests are best played by experienced players, rarely being recommended for beginners.

Dungeons :: Northrend :: The Oculus

+1

Is it just me or can people not spell the name of this instance properly? It's Oculus not Occulus.

While this instance was a major pain when it was released, it has become much less of a hassle now that the drakes scale with your gear. As far as difficulty is concerned, Oculus is not really that complicated, if you take the time to figure out which drake should be performing which task, at which time. Once you have determined that, the instance becomes relatively easy, and can be farmed successfully.

I signed up just to give this dungeon a bad rating.

Hypothetical conversation:
Person A: This dungeon sucks!
Person B: I don't think it's so bad, why do you think it sucks?
Person A: I don't know, it just Sucks!

While the site does provide a very subjective feedback/rating system, stating why something sucks is much more helpful to others than just stating that it is a "bad dungeon".
