I love the way Orgrimmar has multiple levels, but actually has a lot of stuff in it (unlike Booty Bay, which looks awesome but got boring for me after a while). It's also the city I'm most connected to, since I played the whole Rexxar campaign in Warcraft III. Also, it's obvious this is a Horde city and it makes a good counterpart to Stormwind (except Orgrimmar is more cool). Here's a screenshot I took recently, which I think shows it off quite well. I can't wait to see how the insides will change in Cataclysm, as the front looks awesome.
Edit: Just noticed someone else put up a screenshot 5 days before me, which is basically the same thing from a different angle. Sorry about that. |

This will always be my favourite instance. A dungeon dedicated to Worgen, the coolest creature in the game, with fantastic music, architecture and plot. After doing the quests in Silverpine Forest, you really felt like you had a reason to be there.
Also, for about 3 months I was in an alliance RP guild set in Silverpine, so I'm very familiar with SFK and the surrounding area. Definitely feels like home, and I have lots of good memories. |

This is a cool place for beginners learning how to perform their roles. I wish the alliance had a similar dungeon. |

I fondly remember questing here, mostly because I haven't done it to death (dwarfs and gnomes aren't my favourites). The quests weren't that interesting, but it's definitely a beautiful zone (here's a screenshot). I hope Blizzard does something interesting here in Cataclysm without changing the looks. |

I had loads of fun RPing here on my human warlock. We set up in Pyrewood Village and Ambermill, and for about 3 months I had a great time. As a low level, I would often go out by myself to hunt down a Son of Arugal to test my powers. It didn't last very long, but I have some good memories and I continue to play on that character (who has the largest backstory I am likely to come up with in a long time).
Also, it had a cool story arc for horde characters leveling here and my favourite dungeon ever. The music here and in SFK definitely rank highly out of that in the game and I'll sometimes listen to it on iTunes while I'm playing in a different zone. Overall a very good atmosphere.
If you enjoyed this zone too, I recommend Duskwood. It has the same music and feel to it, but with quests which aren't quite as cool (at least as far as I can remember). |
