He is a bad man, although he is becoming more and more Dr. Claw as Wrath unfolds.

One of my favorite Warcraft characters, A level or two below Malfurion. The more and more He descended into madness the more i liked this guy. Right up until the moment he put on the accursed helmet. The my Awe at this awesome character rose to a new level :D

Few lines in video games made more of an impact on me that the voices of Arthas and Ner'zhul claiming "NOW WE ARE ONE!"

End of Warcraft 3: The frozen throne when the death knight arthas ascends the frozen throne with the voices of his memories giving every reason to turn back he still shatters ner'zhul's prison and dons the helmet in which his essence is contained to become the lich king.

Red potion to one of the best built up 'baddies' in WoW so far!

I enjoy how aggressively he pushes us out of his territory.

Ok. I'm not being serious.

I believe his quote in a quest in HF brings his whole character into one line:
"With just a snap of my finger your soul will languish in damnation for all eternity."

The scene in WC3 where he kills his own father is one of the most chilling scenes in any video game. His encounter in Icecrown better be epic.

Oh YA!!!!! That little cinematic movie was amazing.

Arthas- You no longer need to sacrifice for your people. You no longer need to bear the weight of your crown. I have taken care of everything.

His Father- Arthas, What are you doing?!

Arthas- Succeeding you, father!

Arthas cont. - This kingdom shall fall, and from the ashes shall arise a new order that will shake the very foundations of the world!

Voted 3 for his excellent role in Warcraft III and The Frozen Throne. However, if I were scoring solely on World of Warcraft i'd give a 1 or 2.

He runs away from EVERYTHING.

How can't you like him? He an awesome character arc and adds tons of lore to the already rich Warcraft Verse. His downfall is a tragic one, but very believable. Manipulated and torn by the scourge, destroying him in the next patch will be an amazing and tragic one. First time killing an end game boss will make you feel something.

I want to kill Arthas so bad! (Me being a ret pally and all)! Can't wait for my paladin to say "You and your scourge killed my country, my family, my life as I knew it TIME FOR ME TO STAND BEHIND YOU AND SMASH MAH HEAD AGAINST MAH KEYBOARD!"

Im torn between him being a bad ass in WC3 and him and his "I'll get you next time gadget!" stance in WoTLK

this guy is a wimp in WoW, in Warcraft 3 he was epicly amazing, however in WoW he literally runs away from everything, in the quest Last Rites he just leaves his crony there to try and kill you, in the wrathgate cinematic he gets a nostral full of poison and runs away like a girl, but honestly poison shouldnt have affected him at all, seeing as how he's like supposed to be completely epic and all. and after all that being wimpy, in halls of reflection when ur running away from him, if he catches up to u and kills the person you are following faction respective, he hits everyone in your party for 850k -.- but all in all a greatly developed character.
