World of Warcraft's world events are excellent and some of the best out there. Also now that there are achievements to be gained and more permanent rewards than in the past, it lets everyone in on the fun.
Yes we need zombie invasion in here so I can rate it Artifact. I loved that event if for no other reason that it truly simulated a real life disaster. Everyone day to day routine was SHATTERED and they were quite understandably pissed about it.
The Zombie Invasion, the Opening of the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj and so on are listed in the Patches, in the Game Content area.
This section is more about the Seasonal events (now renamed).
I will see if I can add a section for the one-off events ( Braaaaaiiins!) and probably include the Argent Tourny in that as well.
The Zombie invasion was the best world event ever. It was too short.
Other than getting infected and trying to lead a zombie army to destroy all vendors in IF, I don't much like world event things. Especially Hallow's end, too much crap to carry around in my bags.
