+ THE HORSEMAN. Probably the best NPC character in the entire game's history, and also can be thwarted by lowbies and highbies alike
+ Loads of content for all levels
+ Fits excellently with the game's lore and feel
+ Lots of vanity items and simply fun costumes etc
+ Exp/gold from travelling the world gathering candy
- The mount's drop rate *mumble grumble*
- Err...really not much else.
Conclusion: The best holiday event in World of Warcraft, and perhaps any MMORPG.

I've been playing since January, so haven't hit them all yet, but I have to say this is by far the most fun that I have had with an event so far. Between the Trick or Treating, Masks, and Headless horseman I can't get enough of it.
I've never been much for the WoW holidays, but I really want the meta-achievement for this one. It's been genuinely alot of fun, and the trick-or-treat mechanic has kept me engaged.
Prepare yourselves, the bells have tolled! Shelter your weak, your young and your old!
Each of you shall pay the final sum! Cry for mercy; the reckoning has come!
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!
Prepare yourselves for sweets and gold!
(And the other treasures for which you rolled)
Each of us bugs strangers for taffy and gum
EAT SOME CANDY, HALLOW'S END HAS COME! AHAHAHAHAHA!
Easily my favorite WoW holiday... Plenty to do and it's not all in one spot unlike Brewfest... I love wearing a jack o lantern on my head and flying on a magic broom everywhere :P Good times.
When the decorations of Hallow's End light up Azeroth's cities, you know there's mischief afoot! Seek special vendors in Orgrimmar or Ironforge and get your hands on treats! Aid a sick orphan in a little trick-or-treating! Darkcaller Yanka, attending the Forsaken's Wickerman Festival, and Sergeant Hartman of Southshore are seeking your aid in keeping the enemy out of their holiday affairs - are you up to the challenge
