This map is way too big and spread out. It takes forever to get into combat.
What they need to do is have an urban close combat type situation, like fighting inside a castle like Utgarde Keep, Karazhan, etc. with stairs, hallways, passages, etc that would be geographically small but would have a lot of twists and turns in it.
You would think after all the complaints Blizz has gotten over the years about imbalances in BGs, the would have learned to place the capture flags in the center of the areas we're fighting over. As it is right now, Horde only has a fighting chance of getting to the Docks flag at the start of the match before the Alliance have started the capture if they have the Pally mount speed buff.
So I was excited initially about this BG, but after I've spent some time............I really don't like it. I don't know what it is about it that turns me off, but its seriously my least favorite BG. I feel like I should like it because there is all this stuff in it and strategy, vehicles etc. Anyone else feel the same way?
The only battleground at the moment, that truly feels epic. I wish the game maintained the old system of battlegrounds having their own reputation and vendors. I would not mind grinding my way to exalted in this one.
Great Idea badly done. First they need to make it so that all three of the objectives are equally powerful, rather than having docks just beat the crap out of the other 2. Second they should definetly increase the honor gained so that it's on par with that of AV. Still giving it a 4/5 though cause it's a great idea if it isn't perfectly implemented.
