Watching a prot warrior spell reflect attacks by Mimiron's head for 13k a hit on firefighter is still one of my favorite memories of all time. Prot warriors are amazing; however, the players aren't always amazing too ;_;
Not being able to PVP with them as well as you could with the other specs really hurt Prot in my opinion back in the day. Blizz has made some changes to make them better in that regard, but I still prefer running around on my PVP server as one of the other two specs first.
Which isn't to say that my warrior doesn't have a Prot dual spec and gear for it when a guild mate is in dire need of a tank.

Those were the days...
Now I mostly play DPS as Arms warrior, simply because there are way too many tanks of all kinds in my guild and I generally avoid PUGs like disease.
