Arenas

Having balance changed due to arenas has hurt all three of my main classes - most recently, my protection paladin - in PVE content. I can't help but despise them.

Boss Encounters :: Eye of Eternity :: Malygos

When I first saw this fight, I was admittedly a bit worried about vehicular combat integrating into a boss encounter. I needn't have worried; the fight was well done, and also somewhat difficult when it was still progression.

Of course, now that we have scaling drakes, the fight's a total joke.

Challenging content was challenging at the time, and loads of fun.

Then we all got Ulduar gear or higher, zerged the encounter, and everyone has the title.

Doing the encounter the right way is still loads of fun, though.

Boss Encounters :: Tempest Keep: The Eye

My most vivid memory of TK was when I was apping for my current guild. Two sheeps and two fears on the trash before Kael, or we wiped.

Boss Encounters :: Tempest Keep: The Eye :: Kael'thas Sunstrider

Definitely in the top three fights I've ever done. Epic fight, P4/5 was way fun, and it was really difficult right up until 3.0. Excellent encounter.

Classes :: Mages :: Arcane

I want to give this a 5. I really do...but when I thought about it, I remembered what it was like back in BC, with the T5 set bonus, and speccing 40/0/21. I wish those days could come back. Arcane was at its finest then.

BC, for me, was where I started playing - and also where I began raiding. Maybe it was just "rose-tinted glasses", but the instances and raids in BC were, simply put, amazing - and even going back at level 80, stuff like TK and SSC is still really, really fun.

The zones were really well made, too - especially compared to the questing experience I had in old-world Azeroth. From going out to Hellfire Peninsula for the first time to grinding out the second Nesingwary chain in Nagrand, I had fun all the way from 58 to 70.

Game Content :: The Burning Crusade :: Fury of the Sunwell

The only thing that I hated about this patch was "merely a setback". Ugh.

Game Content :: The Burning Crusade :: The Black Temple

Released a little early, yes, but Illidan was definitely one of the most epic fights in the game. So much fun.

Game Content :: The Burning Crusade :: Voice Chat

I wanted to like it, I really did...but Ventrilo was just so clearly superior that it wasn't even funny.

Game Content :: World of Warcraft :: Battlegrounds

BGs have become such a staple at this point in the game, and they provide good large-scale PVP opportunities. Really enjoy them.

Playable Races :: Blood Elves

+2

The lore for blood elves is excellent, the models look nice...but there are just *too many* of them. >_> Not that my characters are helping that problem any.

Playable Races :: Draenei

-1

I do like the female Draenei model more than any other Alliance character model. I don't really like what they did with the lore, but hey, can't have everything.
