I liked this BG alot, becuase it had huge PvE elements as well as some pretty cool mechanics if your group does the quests. You can get reinforcements, huge trees and all kinds of neet stuff going on.If both sides do it, the battle truely is epic. Alas, most of the time AV isn't about PvP but about zerging towers and graveyards.. =[ Wasted potential. |

my second favorite Battleground. very fun to play, communication is a huge component to winning this one. Less about who's sneaky or who zergs what and more about actual strategy. |

I haven't played WSG since they implemented the time restriction, because I loathe this battleground.. but I'll have to give it a shot, I want the rep so maybe it won't be as bad |

I've been in to kill this guy so many times, and all it takes is a few people who have no idea whats going on to mess it up. Its not a particularly difficult fight, but the mechanics are what can break a group. Phase 1 you have to get those power sparks down at a reasonable range so that everyone can benefit. phase 2 make sure your top melee dps get on the discs and down the adds asap, phase 3 stack and follow. Phase 3 is the tricky part, its very hard to get lost. Unique fight, to say the least. |

Extremely difficult, even with a full group of level 80's. I never had the pleasure to experience it during BC, but I've been in four times at 80 and have never completed it, never been past the Eredar Twins. Boss mechanics are great, requiring coordination and percision. My hat is off to those who completed this raid during BC. |

Essentially, this blue dragon is possessed by a demon in another dimension, and you are required to bring both down relatively around the same time without actualy killing Kakecgos. A portal opens and half of your raid will go in and dps down the demon with the help of "human Kalecgos". Pretty interesting fight! |

Way more difficult than BT or Hyjal for sure. I went in with a group of 20 lvl 80's and we wiped on Al'ar and KT once each. Epic battle, intense and very fun! |

he survived cause he fled, and only bested the other aspecs prior cause their powers were diminished by the demon soul. plus, taking into consideration what ilevel our gear will be when we go fist-to-chin with ol Deathwing its really not that hard to see how we'll get him down.

When I started playing, two of my friends were level 70 hunters. I rolled a rogue....... and they could always run me through whatever or get the mats i needed no problem. So I thought I'd also roll a hunter to be a farm character... Damn this class is boring. And mana? I really haven't had fun playing any class other than Paladin with a mana pool. Maybe when they change it to Focus for Hunters I'll like the class a bit more.

the Second Scourge Invasion, or as i like to call it, Zombiefest, was amazing. Revitalized world pvp and RP at the same time, intra-faction even! Zombies could speak cross-faction, which was a neat little bonus.
I remember one of our top guilds, Cadia, went all medi-eval on goldshire and spent hours purging the infestation of ghouls there, all the while staying true to the reals RP tag.
By far the best time I've had in WoW, makes me sad that i missed the other events similar to this. |

Best. Patch. Ever.
The new Looking for Dungeon system is great! Makes the heroic grind on my alt 80's much simpler. The new 5-mans are great, too, connected, but not. Great drops, great fights.
I haven't tried the new LFD tool on my lower level alts yet, but I'm sure it will be just as pleasing finding groups for low level dungeons much faster than before. |

Worms are really a great BM tank pet, they get all the usual Tenacity abilities like Thunderstomp and Interviene, but also Acid Spit which lowers the targets armor by 10%, stacking up to 2 times for a total of 20%.

The thing about blood elves i don't like is just how MANY of them there are. They are supposed to be a small force recovering from persecution, seclusion and addiction. out comes BC and BOOM they're everywhere. It ruins the lore for me. |

My hunter is a Draenei, and honestly i can't stand him. Mostly because he's a hunter, i think. I had a Draenei paladin and he was really great! so i can't bag the race, they have a noble air about them, and the females are kinda sexy in a weird way [tails and hooves aside].
plus the Draenei dance is awesome! |

I was going to roll Undead Rogue when i started playing, but my friends played alliance so i went with my standby of Dwarf Rogue.. They cater to my morbid side without going over the top. Just the right amount of decay and shady dealings. And the Undercity reminds me of Nightmare before Christmas for somereason, so cool points right there. |

I rolled a Dwarf Rogue during the middle of BC, and picked up Blacksmithing for the ability to craft your own weapons. The level 70 MH swords were great for beginning raiders, and upgradable. You don't see weapons like Blazefury in Wrath, which is a shame. Blacksmithing is mostly armor craft, I'd like to see the diversity of the craft revitilized with Master Weaponsmith/Armorsmith in the next expansion.

Really, RPPVP realms embody the way World of Warcraft should be. Roleplaying if you so choose, and the constant threat of being attacked by the opposite faction makes the feel closer to the source: WARcraft. And it really helps leveling characters develop their pvp skills.

Some speculation leads to this not actualy being a dragon, but a sea serpent or thresher. But one could also assume that it is in some way related to Galakrond, who was the "progenitor of dragonkind". Could be his mate, or something? |

the grind isn't so bad, its just like every other daily quest grind.. lemme take that back. AFTER you've finished the first faction grind it isn't so bad. lots of new quests open up that are right around Icecrown and make things much smoother. The first quests have you going all over Northrend kissing frogs and talking to ladies in the middle of lakes. and swords. lots of swords. takes a lot longer to do these quests than the others, but all said and done gold is always nice. |
