For millennia, Ulduar has remained undisturbed by mortals, far away from their concerns and their struggles. Yet since its recent discovery, many have wondered what the structure's original purpose may have been. Some thought it a city built to herald the glory of its makers; some thought it a vault containing innumerable treasures, perhaps even relics of the mighty Titans themselves. Such speculations were wrong....
Ulduar's gates have swung open, allowing heroes of the Horde and the Alliance to venture into the titan Pantheon's ancient halls. In addition to an all-new raid dungeon, this content patch will introduce the dual-talent specialization system, new quest lines, and the epic tier-8 armor sets. Patch 3.1
Lazy and Empty...? Ulduar is by far one of the most awesome raids that Blizz has implemented. Maybe empty for you if you're casual but as a raider I loved the damn place!
I thought this was an incredible patch. The vehicle portion was an underwhelming way to start, but it picked up quickly, with a ton of fun and memorable fights, like XT, Hodir, Mimiron and Yogg. The sense of scale in the instance is awesome, as you feel puny in comparison to the Titans. Easily trumps ToC and Naxx. The implementation of the Argent Crusade wasn't great, but watching the Coliseum's foundations get upgraded to the final deal in 3.2 was cool.
