I've always thought the artistic inspiration for Sillithus/AQ was some of the best in the game. Gotta love Lovecraft.

I rarely visit Silithus these days. Pre-BC it was awesome! But as soon as Outland made its appearance you'd lvl 58 and take a hike from Azeroth... Nowadays the only people found in Silithus are the rep grinders or the people who (somehow) don't have good enough gear to go straight to Outland and need a couple more levels.

The quests for lvling absoloutely suck balls here, but the zone itself looks freakin' awesome.
