Arena can be fun or painful. Glad it's in the game, but I think way too much emphasis is placed on it.
Honestly, it's probably an amazing tool for the devs to use while balancing out the classes, at least for pvp, but the balancing seems to effect pve way too often. |

The battleground system is amazing. So glad it's a part of warcraft. The only issues I have with it stem from other players : ) |

It really would be amazing if some of the epic feel could be brought back into AV.
Summoning Lok and having it turn the tide of battle, massive fights at chokepoints, desparate fights to defend/capture a tower...
Now most people complain about 'turtling' if an AV takes more than 15 minutes to complete. : (
One of my favorite moments in WoW was an AV where we were down 50 resources to 200. We banded together and won through 20 minutes of pure slaughter : ) |

I agree that it's good to have variation in fights, but the last phase...well...it still seems clunky to me. Really wish that Maly had done some 'magically trippy' stuff, and that the dragons we mounted were more assistants to our own abilities, rather than vehicles that we controlled. |

For what it is, it's still pretty amazing. While I prefer 'traditional' dungeons (Sunken Temple, Kara, Ulduar) I wouldn't be sad if more instances popped up along the way like this. |

Agreed. The open air, the ruins, being able to actually mount up in a dungeon...all that was cool. Then you got to the stair fight. It was just amazing going through there the first time : ) |

BC sort of bugged me while it was the end game. I know it might be petty, but it didn't really seem right that the ultimate end game (both for zones and gear) was so pink and purpley : )
Having it as a side destination now though is amazing, and I find myself missing some of the challenges and diversity of the burning crusade. |

The 225-300 range is pretty horrible now. Hopefully the revamp will fix some of that in cataclysm. |

The 225-300 range is excessively painful at this stage of the game. Really hoping it gets some love in Cataclysm. |
