I can't completely hate this place because it's where I leveled after leaving Teldrassil but I hate it for 3 main reasons. It introduced me to murlocs,threshers,and of course the long walks from one end to the other. A good point, though, is the lovely blue birdie that hunter's can tame here as well as the ghost saber of course.

Nostalgia aside (back when WoW was first released I played a Night Elf and remember loving this zone and how you felt like you were lost in a real forest), I don't understand why Darkshore has such a bad rep. The quests aren't great, true, but the look and feel of the zone itself usually lures me there.

It's almost as long as The Barrens, but the quests mostly come from just one town. Going up and down Darkshore gets extremely time consuming.
