Arenas

Arenas :: Dalaran Sewers

meh, it still seems cramped and confined. the water mechanics are awkward as well.

Arenas :: Ruins of Lordaeron

ditto, it's kind of fun. not as much in the way of LOS manipulation in this arena. this is something i think that is abused to much in several of the others.

Arenas :: The Circle of Blood

i like this one, i'd say it's probably my favorite. plenty of obstacles (the bridge is a nice touch) - but it's not just 4 simple posts in the corners. it's big - providing essential of room to maneuver.

Arenas :: The Ring of Trials

yeah, not really a fan. while there is a big open space in the middle, the four columns denigrate most matches into "catch me if you can"-"post humping"-"LOS-abusing" headaches.

Battlegrounds

Battlegrounds :: Alterac Valley

+2

for the longest time this was my favorite BG. the various nerfs over the years though have made this more of a headlong zerg instead of the massive battle it once was. i fondly remember groups stockpiling blood or other player loot to summon the various available NPC's to join the fray. those were good times.

Battlegrounds :: Arathi Basin

+1

if fighting on the roads and rushing stables/farms wasn't the way to win the everyone wouldn't be doing it. amright?

Battlegrounds :: Eye of the Storm

+1

i can not effectively express my deep-seething hatred of this BG

Gunstrak, on October 23, 2009

Battlegrounds :: Isle of Conquest

i'm liking it because it's AV meets AB. we need more epic battles in WoW.

Gunstrak, on October 23, 2009

Battlegrounds :: Strand of the Ancients

expected more

Gunstrak, on October 23, 2009

Battlegrounds :: Warsong Gulch

+2

i may be the odd man out, but i'm not really a fan of the time limit. this is my favorite BG, and it feels cheapened now.

Capital Cities

overall i wish the capital cities had more depth.

Gunstrak, on October 23, 2009

Capital Cities :: Dalaran

i spent years anxious to see what was behind that big purple dome in the eastern kingdoms. then they give it to me and i'm much satisfied. it's big but not as overwhelming as Shatt. again has plenty of options. profession trainers for everything under the sun. a place inside a city for people to duel and compare epeens. but the best part though - portals. lots and lots of portals.

Gunstrak, on October 23, 2009

Capital Cities :: Darnassus

Capital Cities :: Ironforge

whether i'm trying to sneak into the tram or playing an alliance alt somewhere, i've never been disappointed with this city.

Gunstrak, on October 23, 2009

Capital Cities :: Orgrimmar

i'm voting here purely based on loyalty, lore, and nostalgia. - i really hope the upcoming changes make this city more three dimensional.
