I used to think that the layout and excessive amounts of rises were unneeded and a waste of time. I then saw that they are, in fact, one of the best ways to protect your city against a zombie invasion.
I don't know what Blizzard thinks they're trying to pull, such a weak, lithe race (compared to the Horde, anyway) would never become so bloody and savage, and if they did they certainly wouldn't live this long.
Kel'thuzad has always, in a way, been my undead mage's idol. Someone to look up to, to strive to be. Maybe one day when I'm level 100, I'll head down to 10-man Naxx and have a good, old fashioned "Mage-duel".
I leveled arcane all the way from level ten, way back in 2007. It was my first character, and still my main. Whether it's the new flavour of the month or the worst spec in game, it'll always be my main spec.
In my opinion, leveling an enhancement shaman is the epitome of fun. Between all their cooldowns and self healing, they can solo many of the elites you will encounter, despite their mana problems at early levels.
I agree with Hellander; Nagrand, Zangarmarsh and Netherstorm really grew on me. I never really "Got the hang of" Blade's edge and Terokkar. Hellfire is kinda so-so. Sometimes I go back to Shattrath and fly around on my old flying machine, just for old times' sake. It'll always be "Classic WoW" to me, just because I never played Vanilla.
This with Army of the Dead reminds of me of my days of playing D&D, where among my necromancer's undead armies I would find the corpse of someone cool, eg: someone named Angus, and make them my lieutenant.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Despite being so awesome in WarCraft III, my mental image of blood elves has been forever ruined by its player base. Especially pre-80 blood elf death knights... I don't understand how some of them can be so... hopeless.
Couldn't even be bothered to give the Horde a place to quest here, our "Quest hub" for this zone is the Fallen Hero of the Horde in the Swamp of Sorrows. The only time many players ever see this is in the short walk from where the portal to the Blasted Lands drops you off and the Dark Portal.
